CPL’s Jobs Club is for anyone trying to find a job or advance their career. The club focuses on resume and cover letter writing, job search techniques, interviewing and much more in a supportive environment. Drop in during open hours – no appointments are necessary! This club is free and open to anyone who is unemployed, underemployed or looking to move on from their current employment situation.

Jobs Club meets at Cranston Public Library Central Library, C-Lab, 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd. on Mondays from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm beginning April 6, 2015. Click here for current schedule.


PPL’s Jobs Club is a partnership with ILSR and is focused on ESL Adults who are looking for work in the factory, hotel, nursing home, restaurant or warehouse industries. Jobs Club helps you:

  • Practice English for the job search and the workplace
  • Learn about different jobs
  • Visit Providence area employers
  • Prepare a resume
  • Search for jobs.

PPL’s Jobs Club meets weekdays on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 – 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm in the 5th floor Learning Lounge at Providence Public Library, 150 Empire Street in downtown Providence. To learn more, call or text Sophie at (401) 465-1636.
